Para quem nos segue aqui e aqui, não é novidade que comemorámos dez anos de casados com um fim de semana a dois em Lisboa. Há muito que não tínhamos um tempo assim só para nós e soube-nos muito bem. Desde planear a viagem, compor o roteiro, onde iríamos ficar, o que queríamos visitar ou revisitar na cidade que nos acolheu durante mais de cinco anos, o que queríamos ver... se disser que a excitação foi total, não estarei a mentir!
Lisboa é sem dúvida uma das cidades mais bonitas de Portugal e da Europa. É luminosa, limpa, e conjuga muito bem o moderno e o tradicional. Nesta altura do ano os tons dourados embelezam as avenidas e as luzes de Natal que enfeitam as ruas tornam a cidade ainda mais bonita! Descer a Avenida da Liberdade, por exemplo, é tão bonito durante o dia como à noite, com dois cenários bem diferentes mas igualmente atraentes! As praças enchem-se de mercadinhos de Natal e as ruas, lojas e restaurantes estão cheios de pessoas - que se não estiverem com os minutos contados - andam felizes e bem dispostas. Vemos famílias inteiras à procura da maior árvore da cidade, ou da iluminação que viram anunciar no telejornal. Os miúdos andam entusiasmados e encantados com toda esta magia da época.
Connosco não foi diferente. Adoramos esta época, porque tudo se torna mais romântico com as luzes e brilho que enchem as ruas e casas, e também por isso elegemos esta data para casarmos.
Não deixem de visitar Lisboa! Não a capital dos centros comerciais, mas a Lisboa das ruas, de andar a pé junto ao rio, de passear nos jardins e a apreciar a sua beleza!

For those who follow us here and here, its unsurprisingly that we commemorated ten years of marriage with a weekend for two in Lisbon. Its been a while since we did this for the last time, but it felt so good! Planning the trip, writing the script, thinking about where we would stay, what we wanted to visit or revisit in the city that welcomed us for more than five years... if I say that was full of excitement I am not lying!
Lisbon is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities of Portugal and Europe. It is bright, clean, and blends well the modern and the traditional. In this time of the year the golden tones embellish the streets and the Christmas lights that adorn the streets make the city even more beautiful! Down the Avenida da Liberdade, for example, is so beautiful during the day and night with two very different but equally attractive scenery! The squares are filled with Christmas grocery stores and streets, shops and restaurants are full of people - if not with the minutes counted - go happy and well arranged. We see whole families looking for the biggest tree in the city, or lighting that saw advertising on television news. Kids go thrilled and delighted with all this magic of the season.
With us was no different. We love this time because is very romantic with all the glow that fills houses and streets, and that was also one of the reasons why we have chosen this date to get married. 
Do not forget to visit Lisbon! Not the capital of shopping malls, but the Lisbon of beautiful streets, walking by the river, strolling into their gardens to appreciate its beauty!
